Yeah, it reduces the property values of the homes in that area too. If that power plant explodes they take the surrounding rich but not rich enough to afford to live in Santa Barbara people with them. When Erik and his family bought their house in Arroyo Grande they got like radiation pellets or something to add in the water in the event of nuclear fallout.
